Hi Michael! Yep you are right. You want your eating window to be in the evening though, not during the day. Always eat after your workouts so you are able to assist and speed recovery rather than disrupt your sympathetic nervous system during your workouts. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thx!

I am interested in Intermediate fasting, yet still confused. My understanding is this, I do not feel strong about this so I am hoping you can shed some light. I feel like I am supposed to set a window of 2 to 4 hours during the day for me to eat. In that window I obviously will eat a well rounded amount of food without processed foods. Is this close ? If I typically lift and workout in the afternoon would it be good to have my time of eating before or after that. any help would be nice.

I absolutely agree Tammy and weeks go by where the only fruit I eat is avocado. Since my diet is plant based, and I want my sugars super low, I eat TONS of dark greens such as kale, arugula, collards, etc. That's the best nutrition for the human body.

Looks like a great program! I'd add more greens to it to complement and balance the colored fruites though.

GREAT question Missy! Ultimately I do not condone or recommend consuming grains as they are quite unfit for humans to be eating them due to the immense inflammation they cause in the digestive system. This is not just grains containing gluten, but in fact all grains. For the purpose of our 30 Day Challenge you will not be counted against if you eat a bulk grain. Also if you want to kick a bread craving one day if it's too strong you certainly have the option to eat a Paleo, or grain free bread, you DEFINITELY may do so only if that "bread" does not contain grains. Ie. Almond or Coconut floor.

Bob,

For the no bread portion of this challenge, is it a full no grain challenge?
