It is not often that people get any substantial gains in bone density. Smaller people are way more prone than bigger people around 60 - 65. It was the reason I joined the gym and discovered you. :-)
(Sandy had her bone density tested and the results were not very good. So she decided to try exercise per her doctor’s recommendation. After just over a year of working with me as her personal trainer Sandy had her bone density tested again. The results are provided below.)
On the spine, my bone density is back to normal and a little above the
average for a person my age (mid 60’s). The change is considered "statistically
significant with a 95% confidence given differences in positioning since
last scan."
On the hip, it improved, but just slightly (2.1%), and is still slightly
below normal.
Doc recommendation is to keep doing what you're doing. It's working.
Many, many old people die because they fall and break a hip and don't recover. I'm going to die a different way, thank you.

I have struggled with my weight since I was little. I was always the "athletic" girl, which is basically another name for "chubby" girl in my mind. I have had my ups and downs of being slim and being extremely over weight all in sync with life situations that resulted in an up or a down. After having my son I knew that I wanted to be in tip top shape before I became pregnant again. My husband and I joined a gym and sought out a personal trainer, which is where I was paired up with Bob.
Bob has changed my attitude towards working out in 4 short months. There is NO WAY I would work out as hard as I do with out Bob. The best part is that he is teaching me to train that hard on my own. He is tough, committed, supportive, funny, and motivating just to name a few. Most of all, Bob has helped me to think more positively about life in general. He is an amazing trainer! After working out with Bob, I now weigh less than my pre-pregnancy weight and am thinner than I was in high school! The sky is the limit with Bob as a trainer. He truly is amazing and makes his clients realize they are amazing too! Thanks Bob!

Bob, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy Saturday boot camps. The work outs are challenging and I like the competition- that seems to really push me to the next level. I feel so much better after the workout and it helps keep me get motivated over the weekend to stick to my diet. ;) With your help Bob, I have been able to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes in just 14 weeks.

*UPDATE 1: Tina began with me at about 30% body fat and after 14 weeks has dropped all the way in half to 18.6%. That is amazing!!! This goes to show what true hard work can do for you.
*UPDATE 30 Days Later: Tina's bodyfat was taken again today and it is down to 15.3% which is a drop of 3.3% in one month. Great job Tina!
*UPDATE 90 Days Later: Tina has been working extremely hard at staying in shape and continually improving herself. She has dropped her bodyfat very close to almost single digits.

I have been going to workouts for about 6 months with Bob as my trainer. I never thought that a trainer would do anything but make sure you counted to "10" or that you extended your arms all the way through the exercise, but Bob does much more. He brings so much more to each workout. He makes sure I stay motivated, that I concentrate, and that I have fun occasionally (rock climbing is one example). But I have NEVER gotten such a workout in 30 minutes, THAT I can tell you. I sometimes find myself saying "I can't make it....today" as I'm half-way through the workout, but I lose that feeling with the confidence and push behind Bob's words. His drive is to make me the best that I can be (like the Army!), through exercise, food, relaxation, etc. And...I can lift almost twice as much weight and do two times as many reps now than when I started in December. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. Thanks, Bob!

I've always been relatively fit compared to the general population. As a former gymnast in my younger years, I've never allowed myself to entirely go, but having a baby at 41 changed my body and I felt like I no longer had the control I wanted over achieving any desired results. I've been weight training on my own for a good 15 years with some results and always felt people who hired trainers just didn't know how to work out. I didn't really feel that I had that much to benefit from hiring one.
Never has a person been more patient and more encouraging at this time than Bob. I mentally evolved from feeling his work outs were too extreme for me, to realizing they were exactly what I needed to get real results. And so I became a convert, so to speak. I learned to embrace his workout concepts and I began to understand what was required of me with his program. IT WORKS.
One year later, I am amazed at the shape I'm in, and I smile broadly when I get compliments from others then reply: Body By Bob. I don't think that I have EVER been in the physical condition I'm in now approaching 45. But the rewards go way beyond just the physical conditioning. The conditioning extends to all aspects of my life. Bob's training is a mind-set, a way to approach effective living and I am reaping the rewards. I am more grateful to him than I can express. I don't think I've met a more professional dedicated and knowledgeable individual. He has changed my life.

I've been fortunate enough to have been working with Bob. He's sincere. He actually cares about his clients. Bob challenges me each and every session, which is what I need!!
I dedicate 30 minutes, twice a week just to me, training with Bob. After my initial 6 months expired I signed up for another 12. I am really having a great time watching my progress and am really thankful that I have Bob!!

Bob's training philosophy is an extension of his personal philosophy; consequently what he passes on is more than knowledge of the mechanics of exercise and techniques to improve health and fitness levels. His focuses on attitude, on the mental aspects of training, and on discipline (mental and physical) have been incorporated into my day to day life.
More than simply making physical improvements, the mental components of his training method have helped me sharpen my focus, become mentally tougher and improve my all around discipline.
